Get to know Emily

Emily graduated from a Master's degree in Chemistry in 2021 and started CHEM-ILY: The Science Around Us in 2022 to encourage herself to carry on learning and building her scientific knowledge. She founded this blog in the hope of sparking some interest and keeping people asking questions about the science around us.

Aside from chemistry and science Emily loves the outdoors, running, hiking, and bouldering. During the various UK lockdowns in 2020 and 2021 Emily turned to crafts to help busy herself and maintain her mental health.
